Folkparken Skellefteå – 100 years of culture and entertainment

Over time, it became a bit too cramped and in 1973 the main building itself was built. This allowed Folkparken to expand its offering, with meeting facilities and other indoor activities. In 1992, a major expansion was made, including the addition of our Kronan banquet hall.

Our business has since then continued to grow and expand. At the turn of the millennium, for example, the McWell pub was added, and today Folkparken is a large and versatile facility both indoors and outdoors. We have hosted all sorts of possible and impossible events, from the original dance and music activities to conferences and television broadcasts.

Outside in our area you will find volleyball courts, a skate park, a pump track, a basketball court, a climbing wall and a graffiti wall where you can show off your skills.

If you just need large open spaces to play, play games or hold competitions, you'll find it here! The space is open to the public, but if you want to hold an event, it's also possible to book the outdoor area for this.
